I've tried a couple different articles from newyorker.com and they don't work at all as offline or offline text on the ipod touch. I can give specific urls if you want but so far it seems like its all of their articles.

I have an electronic subscription to The New York Review of Books. I can see entire articles online, and can save them for offline reading using the ReadItLater Firefox extension and then indeed read them offline in Firefox, but when I try to pull them up on my iPhone, I get the gated web page with the first paragraph of the article and a request to sign in at the bottom. For example, the article on this page:
Posted Apr 26 09 Browser: Firefox 3.0 reply
http://www.nybooks.com/articles/22674
is the complete article in Firefox, but only the first paragraph on the iPhone.
Please let me know if I'm doing something wrong.
Thanks!

Thank you for submitting these. I'm happy to report that every one of these pages works in version 1.2 (just submitted to the app store review process).
In addition to better compatibility, you'll see 2-10 times faster download speeds and a new and improved text-only view.
Thanks for your help, even after 1.2, if you continue to find pages that do not work perfectly, keep posting them.

Hi Guys, your app looks very promising, but at the moment most of the pages I've loaded don't show up or dont show up correctly in offline mode.
Posted May 20 09 Version: 1.1 reply
Some examples :
http://www.tripwiremagazine.com/tools/tw:itter-tools/enormous-twitter-toolbox.html#bulk
Most of the content is not saved offline
http://www.iab.net/socialads
Only the top of the screen is showing up.
http://twist.flaptor.com/?tz=-8
Can't load page in offline mode.
Hope this will get solved in 1.2! -
Jessica
The New Yorker pages work now, thanks. I did find one other blog that I read didn't work though. It has math symbols and they only show up as little question marks. I don't know exactly what formatting was used but my guess is it was done with LaTeX, which usually produces PDF documents. (I tried it in offline mode, but not offline text-- I wouldn't expect this to work as text only).

In offline mode, most of the later images does not load and just replaced by a question mark. It is as if there is a limit of number of images on one page?
And if there is, is there any work around?

Flickr discussions seems to get messed up in text-only view. It only shows the first post. It helps if you hit "show more" but it's still not perfect. Instapaper renders it spot on in this case.

THis loads on web fine, but on iphone, it demands a new login every time accessed and sometimes lands on a database selection page instead of the article after login. Really a pain to have to login again every time I switch to another app and back, such as to paste an excerpt from the article in a notepad, with the resulting login sometimes landing on the article again, sometimes not.
Not sure if this can be fixed, but what would be great would be if we could click through our logins in the iphone readitlater app or other app app, get to the actual article, _then_ choose to manually download that page instead of or in addition to the page that gives the login screen.

Hello, I can't get any recipe pages from allrecipes.com to show up properly in offline mode on my itouch.
