Compulsary Firefox master password
Both with RIL 2.0.0 and 2.0.1, whenever I launch Firefox it asks me to enter my Firefox master password. It's really painful and a genuine deal breaker.
Is this a bug or a feature?
If it's a feature... count me out. I was on the verge of buying the Pro iPhone app but the price was raised... now the master password. :(

2.0 stores the password securely using Firefox's recommend password manager. (0.9 stored this in plaintext).
I'm trying to figure out a way to make this work for users using a master password because as you said, it's quite annoying.
The easiest thing may be simply to let you guys opt to store your password outside of the manager, which will trade security for convenience.-

I noticed the chrome://isreadlater record in my password keyring.

Convenience and security are often diagonally opposed. In the case of Read It Later in my context the most important factor is convenience of having all my browsers and my iPhone synched against the same database.
And having my Firefox keyring without a password is not even an option. One other option would be a secure cookie that needs to be set at install. So that the browser is cleared for use without requiring a logon process. But I have no clue if it's easilly doable in the context of a Firefox extension.
Thanks for your answer.
